The BEST Of Musk’s Offer To Buy Twitter

Elon Musk is not one to hold back from stirring the pot. He is probably the single best Troll on Twitter and when he comments, people read and share rampantly. 

I roughly a weeks time, he went from musing about a Twitter takeover vs starting his own version, calling people who had been banned from Twitter, to buying 9.2% of the company to formally making an offer to buy the entire company. 

The result has been a myriad of passionate responses from both sides of the spectrum and many from the Left are in full meltdown mode, worrying about if he is actually able to do it. 

The first “crack” in the whole takeover idea was when Musk rejected the process to be a member of the board. It seems like this was the first step by Twitter to sour Elon’s plan. 

As Twitter announced that Musk had declined the offer to be on the board, they also cited the intensive background check that he would be subject to. It was a not so subtle statement saying that Musk did not want to subject himself to the equivalent of a public colonoscopy. 

This threat by Twitter arose again after Musk offered to buy Twitter outright, this time by the US Government who is picking up the ball for twitter.
